Impetus Achieves AWS Data Competency in Analytics and Databases

SAN JOSE, California, October 08, 2026 — Impetus Technologies, a global software-led Data and AI services company, today announced that it has achieved the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Competency in both the Analytics and Databases categories.

The designation recognizes Impetus for its demonstrated expertise delivering unified data architectures on AWS, helping customers build the data foundations that power modern analytics and AI workloads.

For many enterprises, the path to production AI runs through the data estate: legacy warehouses, ETL pipelines, and databases must be modernized, with their business logic intact, before AI workloads can depend on them. Impetus addresses this with the Impetus LeapLogic™ Suite, part of the Impetus LeapAI suite of solutions. LeapLogic is AI-led modernization software that automates assessment, migration, cataloging, lineage, and certification of legacy workloads, including mainframes, Teradata, Netezza, Informatica, and Ab Initio, onto AWS services such as AWS Glue with up to 95% automation, and integrates with Amazon Bedrock.

Achieving the AWS Data Competency differentiates Impetus as a member of the AWS Partner Network (APN) with deep technical proficiency and proven customer success delivering data solutions on AWS. Impetus achieved the competency in two categories:

  • Analytics: Designing, building, and operating analytics solutions using services such as Amazon Redshift, Amazon Athena, AWS Glue, Amazon Elastic MapReduce (EMR), Amazon Kinesis, Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (Amazon MSK), and open-format data lakes on Apache Iceberg.
  • Databases: Migrating, modernizing, and managing production database workloads on AWS, spanning Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS), Amazon Aurora, and purpose-built databases such as Amazon DynamoDB.

Deluxe, a leading payments and data company, worked with Impetus to rebuild its core matching system as a scalable, event-driven service on AWS using AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, AWS Glue, Amazon SageMaker, and Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3). The modernization reduced monthly vector search costs by more than 99%, delivered up to 3x faster processing, and cut processing for a dataset of more than 100 million records from weeks to about two hours.

With Impetus LeapLogic, enterprises can modernize their data estates up to 49% faster while reducing manual conversion effort by
up to 94%.

AWS is enabling scalable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions from startups to global enterprises. To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, the AWS Competency Program helps customers identify AWS Partners with deep industry experience and expertise across industries, use cases, and workloads to help grow their business.
